Elevating Childhood Joy: Rooftop Playground Oasis
Our innovative rooftop playground project, designed and constructed for a brand new childcare centre redefines playtime. The multi-level play areas boast a kaleidoscope of textures and colors, creating a vibrant and engaging environment for children. We utilised planters and mesh strategically to fashion living tunnels and screens, fostering a sense of exploration and discovery. Careful landscaping included the planting of shrubs and trees poised to grow into lush canopies, providing shade during the hot Queensland days. In the undercroft play area, using wire and vines, concrete pillars were transformed into living arches, offering both aesthetics and relief from the sun.
Overcoming challenges presented by the podium slab and the parallel construction program to the new build, our team executed this vision with precision and creativity.
