David is a seasoned specialist in the field of horticulture and landscape construction. Armed with a Cert 3 in Horticulture and Landscape Construction, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role at Package Landscapes.
Dave’s journey in the landscape industry commenced as an apprentice in Diamond Creek, working for a small one-person operation. After completing his apprenticeship, he continued his journey as a subcontractor, eventually venturing out on his own with our current Senior Project Manager, Will. In 2012, Dave joined the Package Landscapes team as a contractor, steadily progressing from a landscaper to a site supervisor and then into the role of Project Manager. His dedication and hard work propelled him to the position of General Manager, playing a pivotal role in shaping and expanding the company.
In 2018, Dave achieved a significant milestone by obtaining his building license in Structural Landscaping, further shaping Package Landscapes’ success. Appointed as a Director in 2019, he faced new challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dave oversees our Victorian operations, contributing to HR management, day-to-day construction department activities, and overall leadership. His role involves mentoring and fostering a positive work environment, where both work and personal achievements are celebrated.
He lists his key achievements as obtaining his builder’s license, Landscape Victoria membership, and successful completion of a challenging project in Darley despite extremely tight deadlines and complex requirements.
Dave’s skills encompass building, management, leadership, mentoring, humility, and active listening – values integral to his work.

Beyond work, Dave takes pleasure in the pursuit of the big catch when he finds time for fishing.
